Terms and Conditions
yPolitika editors retain the right to refuse to publish submissions and to remove a publication from the hosting website if it is found to be in violation of the terms and conditions stated here. By submitting your work to yPolitika, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Contributing authors whose work has been published on the yPolitika website can request at any time that their article be removed. Requests can be directed via email to the yPolitika editing team at editor-redacteur@ypolitika.com
2. Any author who submits their work through the portal agrees to abide by the editing process as described on the submission page. Authors agree to submit work that respects the publication criteria described on the submission page (i.e., word count, publication language, content, etc.). Refusal to cooperate with the editing team throughout the process and refusal to abide by the suggestions provided by the editing team is grounds for a refusal to publish.

3. Any author who submits their work abides by the University of Ottawa’s academic integrity guidelines.
4. yPolitika strives to create a welcoming and safe environment for the exchange of ideas and opinions. Content that seeks to incite violence or hatred against a particular individual or group will not be considered for publication.
5. As a subsidiary of the International, Political and Policy Studies Student Association (IPPSSA), yPolitika takes accusations of discrimination seriously. If an author believes they have been the victim of discrimination at any stage in the editing or publication process, complaints can be directed towards the Director (director-directeur@ypolitika.com) or the IPPSSA Vice-President for Equity and Activism (vp.equity@aeeippssa.ca).
